Dr. Glenn H. Osterweil, DOM, LAc, DPM
Acupuncture Physician • Podiatrist

Dr. Glenn H. Osterweil, DOM, LAc, DPM, is a dual degreed Western and Eastern trained Physician, both a Florida licensed Podiatrist and Acupuncturist. He is the only Physician in the State of Florida to hold these unique two credentials. Dr. Osterweil received his education in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine with advanced certification in Acupoint Injection Therapy  for pain management utilizing Homeoepathic remedies. He is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM and holds status as a Diplomate in Acupuncture.  Dr.Osterweil is previous adjunct Faculty Professor and Instructor of Western Diagnostics and past Assistant Dean of Western Medicine at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida. He currently is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Directors at the college. He is also a member of both the Florida State Oriental Medical Association and the American Association of Oriental Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of modern causes of disease including, but not limited to, pain management, sports injuries, stress management, emotional and psychological disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine dysfunction, neuropathy and arthitic diseases. Dr. Osterweil incorporates the ancient art of both tongue and pulse diagnosis as key diagnostic tools in disease identification and management.

Dr. Osterweil holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. He holds membership in both the Florida Podiatric Medcial Association and the American Podiatric Podiatric Medical Association. His practice specialization includes custom orthotic fabrication for athlete sport specific shoe analysis(cycling, running), gait analysis, homeopathic and traditional western injection therapy for lower extremity sports injuries, treatment for ingrown toenails, diabetic neuropathy, geriatric foot care, diabetic foot care, treatment of heel pain and plantar fascitis.

This unique combination of both Eastern and Western training, degree certification and philosophies is an asset for understanding the disease process from two separate perspectives, the integration of both allowing a more complete patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment plan for optimization of health and restoring emotional, spiritual, and physical balance for patients.
